Suggestions
Each rider should carry a set of car keys.
There should be a spare key stashed on the vehicle (hide-a-key) – just in case.
Bring shovel and other emergency items in vehicle (in case vehicle gets stuck off pavement.)
Use an orange cone (or other obvious object) on the edge of the road to mark where you have parked your vehicle so it can be easily spotted by your rider. This is especially useful if the vehicle is on a side road or parking area and cannot be easily seen on approach.
Be prepared for a variety of weather and road conditions.
Carry enough supplies on your person or bike in case you need to be out away from your vehicle longer than expected.
Refer to the cue sheet often. Course is unmarked and will require some minor navigation skills.
